Futurama Prague Office Consolidation

We are very pleased to announce GDM have been appointed by The Deutsche Borse Group (DBG) in connection with the project management, cost control and design for the project to consolidate Clearstream Operations Prague (COP) from 3 to 2 buildings at the Futurama Business Park Prague CZ.

 COP have been based in Futurama since 2010 and business expansion over that period had resulted in the business occupying various floors within 3 of the buildings due to availability of space at the time.  When an opportunity arose to consolidate operations into 2 of the buildings (12,500sq.m), therefore rationalising business operations and taking further space for future expansion, GDM as International Construction Partner were able to assist.

GDM’s role included: Assistance with lease negotiations, technical due diligence, preparation of schedules of condition, interior design, MEP and IT systems design, project management, cost control, and quality control.  

The project included newly designed open plan office areas, management offices and meeting rooms, new kitchens and break out areas, IT rooms, reception, security lodge with corporate security and access control throughout the spaces and a flexible 250sq.m media centre fully equipped with the latest multi-media system.

The entire project was undertaken successfully across 4 phases between April 2020 and Dec 2022 during the challenging Covid-19 pandemic with extensive shut downs and travel restrictions.

Other challenges included maintaining business operations and IT environment fully operational for the duration of the works.
